I’ve always loved sweet tea, but I have reactive hypoglycemia, so if I drank too much sweet tea, my blood sugar would crash, and I would get shaky and feel sick. One day, I was shopping for sweet tea, and I was looking at the ingredients to find a sweet tea that would have less sugar per serving than others. I stumbled across Milo’s, and not only was it the best tea I’d found for sugar per serving, but it only had four ingredients! I decided to give it a try, and I was blown away. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and it had an earthy black tea flavor that was much more palatable than a lot of the more fruity shelf-stable teas. It was the most refreshing and delicious sweet tea I had ever tasted. And as I drank more Milo’s over time, I discovered that I could drink multiple glasses at a time and not trigger a hypoglycemic reaction. I’ve been hooked ever since, and I tell anyone who will listen about just how amazing this tea is.
