Milo’s Lemonade Waffle Sundae

Ingredients

Milo’s Sweet Tea and Lemonade Blueberry Sauce

  • 1 pound frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea and Lemonade
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp Milo’s Lemonade

Milo’s Lemonade Gelato

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 3/4 cup Milo’s Lemonade

Milo’s Lemonade Waffles

  • 3 cups waffle mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cup Milo’s Lemonade
  • zest of one lemon
  • 4 tsp lemon juice

 

Method

Milo’s Sweet Tea and Lemonade Blueberry Sauce

  1. Bring blueberries, sugar, and 1/2 cup Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea and Lemonade to a boil. 
  2. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, until reduced.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch into 2 Tsp Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea and Lemonade and add to blueberries. 
  4. Add 1 Tbsp Milo’s Lemonade
  5. Bring back to a boil, then simmer until thickened.

Milo’s Lemonade Gelato

  1. Heat milk until 175 degrees and stir in sugar. Pour a small amount of milk/sugar mixture in to egg yolks and whisk together. Add egg yolk mixture and lemon zest to milk and whisk constantly. Cook over low heat until mixture coats the back of a spoon and the temperature reaches 160, being careful not to boil. Once temperature is reached, remove from heat and add Milo’s Lemonade. Transfer into a large bowl and place bowl in to a pan (or sink) of ice water. Stir for 2 minutes and then add whipping cream. 
  2. Place plastic wrap onto the surface of mixture and refrigerate at least 4 hours to overnight. 
  3. Fill desired container 2/3 full and freeze 2-3 hours (or longer) until firm. Stir for 2 minutes and then add whipping cream. P

Milo’s Lemonade Waffles

  1. Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl, stirring until well combined.
  2. Cook in heated waffle maker.
