Milo’s Sweet Pumpkin Bread

Serves: 1 loaf


  • 12/3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 11/2 cups sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup Milo’s Sweet Tea 

  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)


  1. In a large small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and nutmeg. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, pumpkin, and sweet tea. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in nuts, if desired.

  2. Pour into a greased 9-inch x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55 or 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
